Introduction Recently we can observe in our society a new social phenomenon. Fewer and fewer young people want to start their own family. What are the reasons of such choices? What can this situation result in? Reasons: first they would like to earn some money, to buy a flat, a car, to be financially independent their professional career seem to be more important for them they do not have enough time for dates, then private family life they want to feel free and independent from any other persons they have fewer problems (don’t want to bear extra responsibility), they worry only about themselves there is a popular trend nowadays to start a family later in mid-thirties people want to continue their education, improve their qualifications and it is time consuming people nowadays work much more and after work they want to have some peace and quiet at home Results: more and more people suffer from loneliness and solitude when they finish work, they come back to an empty flat (some of them finish even with depression) some people live in concubinage which is against the Catholic religion - feel guilty about this situation there are fewer and fewer citizens in Poland - the society is getting older and older Final paragraph: Everyone has right to make the decision about their future and how they ant to live. Young people nowadays do hurry with marriage and having a family. They want to benefit from all pleasures and opportunities life offers them. Introduction: Nowadays more and more people decide to go abroad during summer holidays to work there. This way of spending holidays have some advantages but also disadvantages. Advantages: they work so they can learn new things and gain more experience they earn their own money - they can fulfil their dreams and buy sth they parents couldn’t afford to buy them they become financially independent - also they learn to respect the money they earned through hard work it is also a good opportunity to practise and improve the foreign language they visit other country and they can make new friends, visit interesting places, learn sth about everyday life, customs, habits but also about some traditions later, their future employers appreciate the fact stated in their CV that they have already gain some experience Disadvantages: it can be a bit dangerous (they are far from their families and friends) - not all employers are honest they can feel lonely or homesick some people decide to stay abroad longer and often they leave their friends and families, or they quit jobs/studies in Poland work can be very hard and demanding and not well-paid - even it can be harmful for their health they come back to their work/school in Poland totally exhausted as they didn’t even have some time to rest (holidays are to rest not to work) A great fortune is a great slavery. Thanks to it people’s life would be easier, healthier and perhaps longer. We definitely should invest in genetic engineering believing at the same time that it will stay in the hands of wise and ethical scientists rather than greedy and mercenary ones. FOR: vegetarian diet make our body look attractive and slim such diet decrease the level of bad cholesterol (which is responsible for obesity, heart , liver problems) animals are not killed as there is less demand of meat it is difficult to follow strict diet so it requires from us strong will, sacrifice. obstinacy AGAINST: such a diet is poor with proteins which can be found in meat small variety of meals, especially at winter time basic ingredients of vegetarian diet are expensive in Poland this kind of diet isn’t appropriate for sb who lives in cold climate or who does hard physical work for some people it takes too much time to see the results of the diet Final paragraph: Taking into consideration I think that disadvantages overweight the positive aspects. In my opinion a well-balanced diet which includes also meat is more important for our health than the diet just for good appearance. After the programme the faces of its participants will be recognised in the crowds. if someone was really gifted, their talents would be noticed and appreciated by the critics or some professionals. For instance, Doda became a popstar thanks to appearance in reality show “Bar”. the prize (usually big money) might help them to establish their own business. It is also a good way to make career CONS: it is believed that the participants of reality shows are not very intelligent in such shows people are constantly observed by viewers, so their privacy is in danger it is believed that the participants of reality shows are “one-season stars” and their career won’t persist long Final paragraph: Reality shows for sure can be helpful to start career but this is a very difficult way and only for determined, clever people. Advantages: we can get in touch with the others from every corner in the world mobile phones are multifunctional so there can be used instead of: letters, computers (they have access to the Internet, cameras, dictaphones, calendars, agendas (you can take notes about some important appointments), alarm clocks, radios, mp3 players etc… erc…) sending text messages is much cheaper than calling someone (economical reason) parents worry less as long as they know where their child is and they can get in touch with him/her we have a list of phone numbers and even addresses to the people we work with or our friends and relatives Disadvantages: people are too dependant on their mobiles - what they do if there is beyond the service area or the batteries are flat? they seem to be absolutely helpless when they lose it or their mobile phone is stolen - they they lose very precious data (~perhaps they’d better note down all the information somewhere and keep it in a safe place? But who really remembers about it?) some scientists have proved that while talking on the mobile phone our brain is affected by some waves or radiation which can cause brain cells cancer Final paragraph: Personally I believe that mobile phones are a great invention considering all the advantages mentioned above and the fact that they are not very expensive and available to almost everyone.
